SHELTER RESERVATIONS CITY OF EASLEY PARKS AND RECREATION
The City of Easley has five shelters that are available for reserving. We have one at the J.B. “Red” Owens Complex, two at Pope Field Park and two at Hagood Park. These shelters have playground units and restrooms close by. If you wish to reserve one of our shelters you must come by the office at the Larry D. Bagwell Gym at the J.B. “Red” Owens Complex. If you live in the city limits of Easley you will be charged $10.00 per hour, per shelter, with a four hour time limit. If you live out of the city limits you will be charged $20.00 per hour, per shelter, with a four hour time limit. You do not have to reserve the shelter to use it, but you cannot use it if someone has it reserved.

In 1999, the first phase of building was completed. This site, with five soccer/football fields, five softball fields, three baseball fields, an 18 hole disc golf course, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and walking trails is a true gem for our community and I dare say one of the finest facilities of its type in the entire country, and we're not done! In January 2007 we officially opened the Larry D. Bagwell
Gymnasium. This 48,000 square foot facility has three basketball courts, two multipurpose meeting rooms and a 1/8 mile walking track. The City also acquired an additional 36 acres adjacent to the
complex for future expansion.
Currently our 104 acre complex consists of:
- 3 lighted grass in-field baseball fields (press
box/concessions/bathroom)
- 5 lighted dirt in-field softball/baseball fields (press
