Planning Commission
March 17, 2008

The Planning Commission met Monday, March 17, 2008 in the conference room of the Planning and Development Office.  The following members were present:  Mario Dipietro (acting Chairman), Ray Williams, Pat Webb, Brian Gosey and Tommy Holcombe, Building Official.  Don Hamilton was absent from the meeting.

The folloiwng item was presented to the board:

Rezoning

Henry E. Phillips, Easley, South Carolina made application to have 205 South 5th Street, Easley, South Carolina located on Pickens County Tax Map 5019-15-62-8882 rezoned from GR-2 (Residential) to O.I. (Office Institutional).

Mr. Mario Dipietro, Acting Chairman opened the meeting.

Mr. Henry E. Phillps explains his plan for this property.  He wants his son, David Phillips, to open a law firm at this location.  He presented this request to the Planning Commission.

After a brief discussion, Pat Webb made a motion to accept this request; a second was made by Ray Williams, all in favor of this request.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
